BIO/BACKSTORY

Much like his baby sisters,he was never planned,it just happened: neither Twilight nor Rainbow excepted to have a kid that early in their life,but since they were both well adjusted and already had achieved their life goals they decided to roll with it.

Hes very laid back, calm,hard to anger and quick to forgive and a little bit shy.He lacks the competitive streak that in his younger siblings is so prominent,and prefers to have fun rather than to win,but that doesn't mean that he doesn't do his very best ,especially with flying:he may not be as fast as his brother and mother,but his huge and strong wing span allows him to be a very resistant flyer,in fact he can fly better than other pegasi through strong winds and tornadoes.

He's also pretty academically skilled:being on top of all his classes,winning the science fair all throughout middle school,reading complicated books since he was little and already getting offered a few scholarships by the best universities in the country.

Since his birth he's been squashed between two realities: one being a prince and heir to the throne of Friendship;two being the son of the future Captain of the Wonderbolts.It was expected from him to follow one of his mother's foot steps. He always showed to have the skills necessary to carry out both this tasks,he just didn't know what to choose.

He studied,practiced,attended meetings,won races hoping that one day the answer would come to him,and it did.

When he turned 14 he was met with the choice of being sent to Canterlot to learn all about politics,ruling and friendship, of course,or being sent to the Wonderbolts Academy to eventually become one.

He answered no to both of them,surprising his whole family,but still deciding to continue studying politics alongside his cousin and mother in case he needed it in the future,now focusing more on what he loves.

In fact his true passion lays into videos and photography: he started to develop this interest when Rainbow took him to a Daring Do movie and was blown away at the amazing scenes and camera work.His parents bought him a camera for his 10^th birthday and he started taking pictures of all the interesting things that he saw;he then started to make short clips for his school oral presentations,to move to more elaborated videos like his family whole family tree told in pictures.

With this project he won a prize at his school's annual talent show and gave him the courage that he needed to pursue this path.

He likes to involve his family and friends from time time.All his siblings and cousins are on board with this: pretending to be actors and models is pretty fun

When he'll turn 18 he will still be incoronated and will officially hold the title of ''Prince'' and therefore have decisional and diplomatic power if he wanted to,but he will for sure never use it according to him.

RELATIONSHIPS

Despite what one might think,he has a great bond with his parents: after his choice Twilight just told him that it was completely fine and let go of the topic;Dash insisted a little,but she eventually accepted her son's choice.

By being the oldest he still has to carry out royal duties with his mom,but he doesn't mind.

He's always liked kids ever since he hold his baby cousins for the first time,so he has a soft spot for all the youngsters in his family.He frets over them like an over apprehensive mama duck,so they all call him ''Mom'' to mess with him.

Ash has been his best friends since they could remember:they were born a few days apart from each other,always in the same class,always standing up for one another and getting in trouble togheter.They consider each other more like brother and sister than friends.

He considered Teo like an older brother too,but to be honest,Teo is the group's onorary big bro to go to for advices and bone crushing hugs.He misses him very much.

EXTRAS

-He got his cutiemark after a day out with his mom.They stumbled across a storm and Ace was able to keep up with her without help.

-His soft pelt make him the perfect nap spot for Summer and small critters in general

-He used to keep his mane long when younger,but Rainbow somehow convinced him to cut it.

-Due to his time spent with his Aunt 'Shy,he developed a love for nature and has lots of books about them:he loves to film animals and make documentaries about them

-He's part of a rock band along with a few of his friends

-Celestia it's his godmother and along with all the Mane 8 children,she's his onorary granny.
